Nothing can reduce a smart person to complete
stupidity like a college application. Somehow I managed to be
baffled by even the simplest task!
Shannon's enthusiastic smile and encouraging advice
helped me immensely, and also calmed my application stressed nerves.
It was a joy to have her unending support and patience
whenever I needed it.

PS So far I have been accepted to UC Santa
Barbara and UC San Diego, and letters are still coming
in!

Just wanted to let you know that
I got into all my transfer schools - Columbia, Barnard, Wesleyan and
Brown. I'm definitely going to Brown. It was such a hard decision,
since I had my heart set on Columbia last year. But I feel that time
is over, and I'll move on. I'll keep in touch. Who knows? Maybe
you'll help me get into Columbia or Harvard for grad school in three
years….?

Probably you forgot me, but I didn't forget you! About four months
ago you helped me with my statement of purpose for the scholarship.
I just wanted you to know that I'm doing fine here, and my
application went through the first stage. It means the statement
worked out, and I'll always remember your help with it. I passed my
TOEFL and GRE tests, and now I'm waiting for the results. They
should come in May. But in any case, I want to say many thanks to
you one more time.J
